Since Christmas is only 3 weeks after Thanksgiving this year we decided to put up our decorations today (Sat. Nov. 21st). We had sooo much fun. It was a blast having Grace involved this year. The previous years she was too tiny to help so we did it while she was sleeping. This year she did most of the tree herself, minus the branches she couldn't reach. We just let her put them where ever she wanted and she loved it so much. Grace and daddy put our little train set together, Squeakers (our cat) tried eating the tree, Jake (our other cat) pounced about in the newspaper that had been previously wrapped around the breakable ornaments, Mommy video taped a lot and we just had a joyous morning singing Christmas songs and recapping memories from past Christmases. This is definitely my favorite time of year: The time of year we give thanks to our Father in Heaven for all he's done (ok, this is something we daily do but it's still an amazing time of year) and the time when we get to celebrate the birth that changed the world.

Looks like you all had fun. We will be getting out things out next weekend. Like to wait until after Thanksgiving.
