We Will Miss You Squeakers

Squeakers Statema
5-9-2005 to 9-25-2010

Our youngest pet, Squeakers was hit by a car last night.
A lady across the street found her in the middle of the night and graciously took her out of the road and gave her back to us today.

Squeakers, we will miss your exceptionally loud prrrrr, your playful and fun nature, how adventurous you were, how you would "hide" in a wide open space and think we couldn't see you, how we would have to hide our hands at night from you while we were trying to fall asleep so you wouldn't nudge them over and over again, your squeaky meow, your willingness to "play" with Bailey and how you've grown into such a lovely cat.

When you were a kitty we weren't so sure how you would fit into our family of calm cats-you were a bit of a terror,-but you grew up quite lovely over the last 5 years.

We will miss you more than you'll ever know.

We are so sorry this had to happen to you.

We hope you know that we loved you.

If we could, we would go back in time and love on you one more time, make sure you know that without a doubt you stole our hearts and brought smiles to our faces on a daily basis.
That is the hardest part-not been given a chance to say goodbye.

You still did this-even as a grown up cat.
The first time we saw you
You all grew to love each other-or should I say-tolerate each other.  lol
The look on Luisa's face says it all.
You and Jake were best friends though.
In the middle of moving-always finding unique places to hide and sleep.
Gracie said her favorite thing about Squeakers was her cute little faces.
We were going to give you away.  We didn't think we should have another cat (we already had 2).
So glad we didn't give you away.  You had us a "Squeak"
My Favorite Photo of Squeakers.

This was the day we found her in our back yard.
The dog was barking and freaking out so we thought she had found a possum.  In fright, we brought out a bat and a stick-just in case.  Instead of an ugly, stinky possum, out came the cutest flea-ridden little kitten with the most darling squeak-hence the name.
Thank you for finding us in Florida, for traveling to TN for a year and then for making the trip to Washington to come back to us.
We will always love you Squeakers.
