About once every other week Grace has a day where she doesn't nap. It's not that she doesn't need it that day, just something crazy happened....too much fruit, too much noise outside, poop (sorry, TMI), etc. Poor thing is such a trooper, but neither of us like those days. The good news is she's usually in bed for the night by 6:30pm when that happens which means mommy has more time to get things done in the evening minus a silly billy monkey toddler.
When she doesn't get a nap, the best thing to do is go out and stay busy. Today, thankfully, we were invited over to a friends to play in the baby pool and sprinkler. It should be lots of fun and a good way to distract her from the fact that she's getting overtired.
Right now, she is wearing a new dress Grandma got her, is playing with her Noah book and singing her potty songs. What a multi-tasker. I love my sweet girl.
