Wow.
A lot has happened since my last pots-sorry. We've been so busy lately that I've forgotten to keep up.

1. On December 13th we had a Christmas Party at our house for our friend with kiddos G's age. It was a lot of fun. Lots of food and silliness. Santa knocked on our door and paid all the kids a visit. He gave them each a special present and let everyone sit on his lap. Then the adults played the While Elephant Gift exchange game, followed by more silliness due to kiddos having had way too much sugar. It was a fun late night. My sweet Grace started to melt down due to it being well passed her bedtime and thus the cue for everyone to leave. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again next year.

2. Grace got to sing with her Preschool class at Celebration Church on December 20th. She sang two songs and got to say a line, "M is for Manger where HE lay." She was so brave.

3. On December 20th, Santa came to Barnes and Noble. I am convinced that he is the real Santa. He read to the kids, did magic tricks, taught them about the importance of reading, spent special time with them one on one, passed out candy canes and cookies and was just over all incredible. We spent 2.5 hours with him and we could have stayed there forever. A bunch of our friends joined us in this B&N adventure and I think we'll all be coming back again next year.

4. Grace made a new friend. She now claims to be a "big sister." This is little Abby, a sweet little girl we babysat. Grace was so gentle and loving. We can't wait to watch her again.

That Santa does look like the real deal - what a treat!
