Thursday And Friday Goodness

Thursday and Friday were like the most spectacular ice cream Sundae.
Full of yummy goodness and never wanting it to end.

First stop, the Spray Park in Auburn.
We had no idea this place even existed.
Thankfully the Turners told us about it.
So, Grace and I jumped in the car and went after I got off of work.

Grace was a bit timid at first but soon got up enough courage to stick her tushy in the water.
That was all it took and then she was golden.

Oh happy girl!  The look of joy on your face makes every moment so worth while.

The coolest swing ever!
And, guess who surprised us at the spray park??
The Turners.
Yes, Grace was tired and wanted to do exactly opposite of Gracie T. wanted to do, but in the end all was well.

When we got home we ate dinner and bathed.
It was bed time, daddy was home and I was ready to head Grace upstairs for bed when she reminded me that there was going to be an 80's concert in the park tonight.
Free and Fun!
We usually don't go out after bedtime BUT it's summer and with the prospect over moving in our very near future we didn't want to pass up this great opportunity, so we went.
This band is the best 80's band I've ever heard.
My dream is to hire them when/if we have a vow renewal many years down the road.
Lots of twirls, rolling on the grass, being held and danced with, running around and screaming took place.
With one tired girl in tow we left at 8:30, when the concert was over, and headed to bed.
It was so worth it.

Good by Thursday, Hello Friday!

Taking pictures of my girl at Dash Point never gets old.
I think this has to be one of my all time favorite places to go with her.
And, guess who joined us?
Yep-The Turners, all 4 of them.
Best Buds Forever and Ever
The tide was up, there was a cool breeze and the beach was not crowded.
My girl spent two hours scouring the beach for twigs for her castle and garbage and treasures to fill the pink bucket.  She never needed anything, just went about doing her thing.  Some of my favorite moments in life involve sand, water, light breezes, sunshine, warmth and kids being able to just explore with no real rules or requirements, just being allowed to be with and in nature enjoying it's beauty and peace.

Lord, thank you for amazing places to go that you created.

Goodbye Friday, Hello Ellensburg.
A weekend to bring about changes.
That's up next.
