Well, our napping days are over (for the most part). She has always done everything cold turkey so it's no surprise that out of the blue she just stopped needing/taking a nap. I am sure there will be a random day every now and then that she'll need a real nap (like today) vs. a rest which is why every day we will give her that opportunity. We will still do our nap routine and lay her down every day-if we are home. She can choose to nap or choose to just rest. If she is really awake, we'll allow her to spend her quiet time reading in her room with the door closed. Everyone needs time to themselves and time to relax and recoup from the day. I honestly thought this day would not happen until she was at least 4 or 5. Just goes to show that Grace is her own person, with her own needs and her own timing for things. Bye Bye Nap.
