Grace adores TV,but we know it's not good for her to watch TV too much during the day. Heck, it's not good for any of us to watch TV that much during the course of one day. Loren and I never turn on our TV until after 8pm or 9pm at night and on Sundays we try to not turn it on at all. Grace gets to watch TV 20 min. - no more than 2 hours in a 24 hour day. We prefer to get her using her mind, playing games, doing puzzles, exploring, running errands, getting fresh air, etc. Today, she got up from rest time and the sun was shining which here in WA = you HAVE to go outside. She asked to watch TV and I suggested we take advantage of the sunshine and play outside and she graciously obliged. And, look at what she did. She took the left over daffodil's from the Young Life banquet and decorated our front porch. Then she took the pink sand from her sand box and filled up the other daffodil's and made me a bouquet with them. And, the best part is that fresh air equals a more happy, obedient child. My favorite thing of all.
