You can tell your getting old when....
1. You have to take a nap in order to make it to midnight
Loren and I laid Grace down at around 7:30 and were both out from 7:45pm-9:10pm. It took everything in us to get out of bed-thank goodness for alarms. We could have slept the rest of the night, but how festive would that have been.
2. You watch Mama Mia to kill some time.
3. You make smores vs. drinking champagne.
My mom got me this really awesome smores kit for my birthday and we thought it would be the perfect time to use it.
4. You pass out right after the ball drops...
due to being up WAY past your bed time and having a 2 year old that will be up by 6:30 and having to be at work by 7am.
Poor Loren had to work New Years Eve and New Years Day.
So, Grace and I celebrated New Years Eve by going to Jack and Jills bounce house w/ our friends Jennifer and Grace in the morning and then had a great play date in the afternoon with Gracie's "boys."
