Learning to be sweet and share

Loren taught Grace how to share with Jake.
She snuggled next to him, petted his face and shared her binoculars and sippy cup.
So sweet

We are realizing now just how long of a process sharing is with toddlers. Boy can it be tiring but it's so very worth it.
We knew a long time ago that sharing doesn't really sink in until kids are over the age of 3 so there only so much expectation you have with a one and two year old. She is doing pretty well though and we have some very proud moments. There are some things she chooses to not share and we are ok with that. There are things we don't want to share either LOL I can't imagine being that age, and not fully understanding that when you share you will get the item back. It's got to be heartbreaking seeing something you love leave and thinking it will never be returned. Thank goodness they don't remember most of this time in their lives ;)
