After we went to the Museum of Flight we headed to the Seattle Center. It was scorching. Super dooper hot. We walked around for a few minutes and then took the monorail to the market by the water front. I think we were soaked with sweat from head to toe in just a few minutes (or less). The heat was bouncing off the pavement and off the buildings making it feel even worse than it already was and Grace, for obvious reasons, was not thrilled with all the car sounds-it was really loud there so head phones and crying were a big "GO." However, we had a nice time walking around. And, dad even got to see the fish guys throw and catch a fish. We didn't stay for too long as it was just too hot and we were all really tired from the long day. We headed home and finally got in at about 6pm. I cooked dinner and we ate at 7pm (Chicken, spinach casserole and bread) and finally Grace feel asleep at 9:15 (usually 7:30/8pm, but the heat was just too much for her take). After that Loren, Dad and I just lounged in front of the tv (and a fan) for a few hours and then headed to bed. It was a long, wonderful day.
