Climb To Conquer Cancer

My girl (and her mommy and daddy) volunteered her time at Climb To Conquer Cancer.
We passed out free Starbucks Coffee from 9am-12pm.
And, we gave away free VIA samples.

My girl knows her VIA.
By looking at the packaging, she can tell you what flavor it is and ended up being brilliant at talking things up and gave out all the free samples before we had to leave.
Way to go future entrepreneur.

Our cozy little family.

Skipping and giggling back to serve more coffee.

What a wonderful event to raise money and awareness for Cancer.
Next year we want to run the Starbucks booth from 9-12 and then we want to do the actual hike.

Here are some stats:
The hike starts steep and continues steep for 2 miles on exposed desert terrain all the way to the top of the ridge at memorial point, gaining about 2000 ft.

Ummmm..I'm thinking we will need to "train" in the spring and summer if we want to make it up. Then we will raise money towards the end of summer for Climb To Conquer Cancer and go for it the 2nd Saturday in October.

What are you doing to give back?
I know our family could do a whole lot more.

What volunteer opportunities are in your area?

There are so many people in need and we are so blessed.
Let's take some time to give back!
