1. Watching Grace take 1 hour to eat her ice cream "sundae" at McDonald's while her friends ran around and played. We love our friends. Thankful for all of them.
2. Making a stepping stone with my girl for her daddy for Father's Day. She was so encouraging when nothing was going right and was my little helper who kept fetching towels for me so concrete didn't form on our kitchen table.
3. Watching her walk Bailey home after a trip to the picnic area so Bailey could run and round and "do her thing." She would tell Bailey which way to go and spoke very gently to her-which is unusual ;)
4. Eating dinner on our front porch while Grace freaked out over the big flies that kept buzzing about. I must admit here in WA there are some rather ginormous flies. Not sure what I think about that yet. Although, they are easier to kill.
5. Playing in the back alley with Grace. She rode her little tricycle that's way to small for her. And, she found out that if she scoots it up the drive way a bit and lifts her feet it's a fun backwards ride. She screamed and squealed the entire time. I just sat on the drive way laughing over and over again. Then we played with a bouncy ball for a good 30 minutes running all over the place, twirling to find it and ducking to not get hit in the head with it.
6. Reading three lllloooonnnngggg books before bedtime snuggled in Gracie's closet sitting upon about 40 stuffed animals.
7. And, this moment.....
Watching my girl sleep at the end of her nap.
She of course woke up right when I took these-my little light sleeper-takes after her mommy.
