Good Bye Mo!

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" 

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Our room mate, Melissa Evans, or as we know her -Mo, will be leaving us on the 21st of June.  I can't believe 5 months have gone by already.  5 months ago we had no idea what it would be like to have a roommate.  What Mo would be like. Or, if it would even work out.  We prayed. She prayed. And, we took a shot.
Our God is so good and blessed us abundantly.  

Mo, jumped right in and quickly became part of the family.

Before she got her new job at Sweet Things Cupcakes (which, if you live in the area and haven't been there yet-GO!)  she would play with Grace and take her to Forza.  She would hang out and watch movies with me when Loren was working late. We shared about all kinds of wonderful things.  She had her friends over almost nightly and she would have dinner with us and it was grand.  

A few months ago when Mo changed jobs to the cupcake place, she was promised full time hours and a raise but unfortunately her job cut a good amount of her hours and denied her a raise and thus the need to move.  She will be moving back in with her dad in Olympia to cut back on bills.

We really think of Mo as family now and we will miss having her here with us, but knowing that God is in control and has a beautiful plan for her life gives us great peace.
When ever I think of her, this scripture comes into my mind.....  

"...For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,
"Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future..." 
Jeremiah 29:11

Things I will miss and/or am thankful for:

1.  Mo eating ice daily

2.  Mo cooking her speciality meal: Rice w/ veggies (Soy Sauce: YUM)

3. Mass consumptions of broccoli

4.  Watching Mo drive off with Grace to Forza and the look on Gracie's face knowing that Mo loves her and is taking care of her.

5. Being introduced to the movie: Martian Child

6.  Having Mo's friends over all the time. I love having a house filled with silliness & laughter.


7.  Watching Mo teach Grace how to cross her eyes, make hearts with her hands and bump knuckles.

A huge God praise.

When Mo told us she was moving out we started our search for a new roommate.  With in just a few days someone contacted us, whom Loren knows (mega praise), and will be moving in the day after Mo leaves (wow, wow, wow).  I am awe knowing that God loves us so much that He will  provide exactly what we need at the exact time we need it.  

"And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus"
